Kelly's Port original facility was built in 1929 before the completion of the Great Osage River. Known first as the Rocky Comfort Hotel, the resort was one of the first establishments on the Lake and as time went by the business evolved and became Gaitlin's Boat Yard, on the Gravois Arm - the first marina at the Lake of the Ozarks to see and service boats. After some time in the saloon business in Kansas City, Randy and Jane Kelly came to the Lake in 1977 to give the marina business a try. With little to no experience in the marine industry, they were embarking in uncharted waters. Home to Kelly’s port until a fire in 81’, leading to subsequent moves over the years. This location is now home to Coconuts At The Lake.
